Not Leaving Me {ConDes} Assassin's Creed III
It was his fault. Connor had been hurt. It was all his fault. The worst part was, Connor wasn't even mad at him! Desmond curses again around gritted teeth, helping to wrap what he'd made meager bandages out of tighter around his ancestor's shoulder. His hands shake, all but stained with Connor's blood while said Native tries to get his attention with soft words, but he can't listen. It's all his fault, dammit!
"No, it isn't, Desmond."
Shit, he'd said that out loud.
"Desmond," Connor tries again, with the same reaction, or rather, lack of one. Desmond manages to tie off the knot holding the last bit of bandaging together when Connor's voice

{ConDes} Freedom and Safety (Assassin's Creed III)
Desmond is sat down at the top of the hill, overlooking the land that made up Connor's tribe and home. He listens to the voices of the tribespeople rising up through the New York summer air.
Kanatahséton was beautiful this time of year, the afternoon sun shining down warmly on the healthy long grass and trees swaying companionably in the breeze. The chanting harmony of stories that Desmond can't quite understand echoes in his ears and up to the wind that carries them across the Mohawk Valley.
Unlike Altair and Ezio, Desmond was just barely starting to notice the symptoms of the Bleeding Effect from Connor's memories. Picking up the Moh

The gaps in the tranquility of the compound did nothing but cause unease to the dark, confident soul strolling through the haze of misery around him. Even for him, this was eerie and the purpose of this place sent a chill down his spine. However, Nico didn't allow this to perturb him enough to turn back. He has a mission, and he is not leaving until he's completed it. He came too far and sacrificed too much to get here in the first place. The anger, hopelessness, helplessness, and depression was a stench that would have suffocated him if he let it. But his reckless hope shines a light through all of t

Lose You Too Chapter 3 (Nico di Angelo/Reader)
You grunt for the umpteenth time as your back hits the dirt and grass.
It’s happened so much, you think you can memorize the pain and the ghost of the vibration from your vocalization long after you utter it. You don’t recall being on your back so much before. The weight on your chest from Nico’s foot makes your breath catch minutely. You reach up before you fully realize what you’re doing, and your fingers brush his shin. You can feel the muscles underneath his jeans, and when you glance up, Nico is giving you a strange expression; something behind his eyes that is gone in the next instant.
You pull back at the same

A Thousand Nights Before I Wake
Nico didn’t see it, but he sure as Tartarus felt it. It was almost enough to drive him to his knees. No. No, it couldn’t happen. It couldn’t be. His limbs suddenly felt like lead posts, his sword arm dropping to his side, pale, slender fingers clenched tightly around the hilt of his weapon.
His eyes weren’t seeing the battlefield around him, his ears not hearing the cries of anger, war, agony. His nose didn’t smell the blood, ichor, or the stench of monsters. He didn’t even hear the cacophonous cry of, “THE HERO OF OLYMPUS HAS FALLEN!” Unbeknownst to him, no one believed it. They kept fighting,

Lose You Too Chapter 2 (Nico di Angelo/Reader)
It was precisely two months. Two whole months that you had prayed for a quest. You needed to prove yourself. The Ares kids were beginning to pick on you for the sole reason that Mr. D had seemed to gloss right over you when you and your team won Capture the Flag last Friday. You mean, you were the one who infiltrated the other team’s base and snagged the flag (on pure accident, but nobody needed to know that), and ran with it all the way into your side of the territory! You had nearly passed out from oxygen deprivation and you’d earned a stitch in your side from sprinting. But, that didn’t matter to him, apparently.

Lose You Too (Nico di Angelo/Reader)
His dark eyes always followed you. Whenever he was near, it was like a constant chill had fallen over your person. At the same instant, however, you burned like a pyre set upon by the most flammable liquids imaginable. You could never understand why. It always evaded your mind’s reach, like smoke. Even more of a mystery was him.
He hardly spoke to you, and if he did, it was in short sentences. In those times, you swore he would rather be on the other side of the world than anywhere near you. He hated you, you were sure. But somehow, someway… You felt his eyes on you anyway. You could practically see them in your mind’s ey

The Reason I'll Never Do Solangelo by Takara-Phoenix, journal
The Reason I'll Never Do Solangelo
There's a reason to it and I suppose I'm not quite proud of it, because it's the same reason I got thrown into my face by quite a few Percabeth shippers in the past. Then again, I don't plan on stalking Solangelo-fics/pics and posting "Stop shipping it!!1!1!eleven!", so I guess there's the difference then? They may ship it if they feel the need to, but I'll never participate.
But a friend of mine asked me WHY I don't ship it, since I ship both Percy and Nico with quite a lot different people and that's true. So I figured perhaps some of my readers may be interested in my reason too.
As previously mentioned, I don't plan on stalking Solangel
There was a crunching sound, and then there was a scream. He could make it out from far away, but he was one in about a thousand, running, screaming, looking for help that was too far away. Always too far away. His hands reached out, eyes scanning the air above him, seeing them towering above him, and knowing they weren't good. His heart pounded in his chest, and he looked up further, to the sky, watching it, wondering if they were out there, trying to save this this forsaken city.
He could make out that scream from far away, and he knew who made it, because it screamed again.
His life sped back into action, his breath coming fast as he spi

Dylan was dead. He was lying on the gravel below him, eyes pointed toward the looming Apocalypse. Sam's eyes narrowed, ignoring the truth of what was said moments before, dropping the metal bar he has in his hands, hearing it bang off the statue he stood on, before hitting the street beneath him with a triumphant clank!
His face shot toward the steadily incoming planet overhead, his eyebrows knit in confusion. He believed that if he hit Dylan into the control pillar, the force of the hit would both kill Dylan and eliminate the threat of Cybertron, which was still fast approaching. He was wrong, and if at anything, Cyber

I need more Ares/Percy in my life. Yes, you read right. I don't even know how I started shipping that, honestly. It just happened like almost every other ship. There's just not enough. About the Ares fanart, also... I don't really like the image of him as this burly, bearded biker. I mean, the leather? Hell yeah. The bike? Hell yeah. A barrel-chested barbarian with a beard like Dog the Bounty Hunter? No thanks. Personally not my cup of tea. I see him as more attractive than that. He is the god of war, after all. I also need more Ares/Athena, because in this particular universe, I get the feeling that incest is just not a thing. So yes, more o
